Discharging Trade Vehicles

The Port presently handles vessels up to a capacity of about 1200 trade vehicles. Rates of discharge approx. 10 cars per driver per hour.

Ship Repairs

Several small engineering firms are available for light ship and machinery repair locally.

Mooring Gangs

All Staff engaged in Mooring Operations receive Pier Safety Training in Mooring Operations and are an integral part of the stevedoring service provided.

Bus operations

Buses are mainly used for the RoRo ferry foot passengers on certain berths.

Weighbridge operation

The Port is equipped with two Cab-High Weighbridges for all Freight Traffic over 7 tonnes.

Chandlery

Local Chandlers are available by private arrangement.

Bunkers

Bunkers are available for delivery on board by Road Tanker or by bunker barge. Both by Private Arrangement.

Fresh Water

Available on all Berths. Rate is approx. 25t per hour.

Underwater Services

Available from local diving contractors approved by the Harbour Master.

Hospitals & Doctors

The nearest Hospital is in Wexford Town approximately 20 km away. Several doctors' surgeries are available locally.
